Growing up in a society with racism affects us all, whether we want it to or not.  We need to heal from the experiences we’ve had – whether we are a person of color who has been targeted by racism or a white person who has been conditioned to racism.  A key part of that healing requires talking about our experiences and feeling the feelings that go with them.  Listening Exchanges, described on the "How to begin...." link below, are a dependable way to help each other heal from the effects racism has had on us.
