Note to Parents

Welcome to our website. We hope you find it interesting and informative. There's a lot of information here that we think it would be good for parents to know. We also invite you to visit the site with your child(ren) and talk about it together.

One of the best things parents can do for young people is to ask questions and listen to them as they talk about how the racial situation at their school, or on a team, or in their community looks to them. It's best to keep inviting their thoughts and hold back a bit on yours until they really press you for your views. If you, yourself, are committed to helping to end racism, it's good to let children know that. If you have taken, are taking, or want to take some action to help end racism, let children know about it. It's usually good to let them know that you have questions, feelings, hopes, etc. about this topic, too.

We welcome your comments, questions and suggestions.
